121 govt employees served show-cause notices

Around 121 government employees from different departments in the district were today issued show-cause notices for being absent from work.
On the instruction of District Magistrate Chandra Kant Pandey, officials including Chief Development Officers (CDOs), Sub Divisional Magistrates, Tehsildars checked different offices, hospitals and schools (primary and junior) where 121 officials, doctors, teachers and other employees were found missing from their respective offices, sources from district administration said.
The District Magistrate directed heads of all the concerned departments to cut one day salary/honorarium of the absentees and issue show-cause notices to them, they added.
