13 mowed down by truck in Etawah

All the thirteen people were sitting by the roadside when the truck ran over them after the driver lost control of the vehicle, they said.

Agitated with the incident, local residents kept the bodies on the road and blocked traffic.

A police team has rushed to the spot, officials said, adding that the truck driver and another person have been detained in connection with the incident.
