Monu alias Yogender (19) of Kanwali village, about 27 km from Rewari, allegedly restrained the minor yesterday and molested her while she was on her way to school with her brother, police said.
The victim, a student of ninth grade, raised an alarm after which the youth and his accomplice fled from the scene on a motorcycle, he said.
The girl informed her father about the incident and later filed a complaint. The police have registered a case under POCSO Act and of wrongful restraint against the main accused and also booked his accomplice under relevant provisions of the law.
