Wednesday evening's clash led to the injury of at least 17 persons, nine of them seriously, a police officer said.
The seriously injured persons were undergoing treatment at MKCG Medical College and Hospital here.
The clash broke out over the dispute over land.
Armed police forces were deployed in the village.
At least two counter cases were registered at Hinjili Police Station, he said.
