180 kg banned medicinal herb seized, two arrested
Press Trust of India Jammu Two alleged smugglers were arrested with 180 kg banned medicinal herb in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.
During a routine checking, a truck was intercepted at Lakhanpur area in Kathua district last night, they said. The truck was heading to Amritsar from Srinagar.
After a search, a consignment of 'Nag Chatri' was seized from the vehicle and two persons were arrested, police said.
