The constable was escorting the accused from Arthur Road jail to the special TADA court, police said.
Feroz Rashid Khan, one of the accused, suddenly pushed, abused and manhandled the constable Anupam Dange outside the jail, police added.
A case was registered against Khan under section 353 (assault on government servant) and other relevant sections of IPC.
