2 arrested for horse racing on Expressway

The police today claimed to have arrested two persons who raced their horses on a stretch of the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, a video of which was doing the rounds of social media.
Through CCTV footage and the video, five persons had been identified, police said, adding that two have been arrested.
The accused have been booked for rash driving and riding on a public way and under provisions of the Prevention of Animal Cruelty Act, they said.
In the two-minute video, two horse riders can be seen trying to overtake each other, while a few bikers are seen cheering the racers.
