2 contract killers arrested with arms

Two alleged contract killers who had taken a job to murder a businessman here were arrested today with two countrymade pistols and as many cartridges having been recovered from their possession, police said.
SP Jaipur (rural) Bahadur Singh said the sharp shooters hail from Haryana and had been hired by a jailed criminal, Mahendra Saini, to kill Harish Goyal, a businessman in the Pragpura area of the district.
"Following a tip-off, the accused, identified as Deepak Sangwan (20) and Praveen Harijan (23), were arrested from Neem Ka Thana road in the Kotputali area.
"A local miscreant, Manoj, who is an aide of Saini's, was also arrested," Singh said.

According to police, Saini had been demanding money from Goyal and Manoj had recently threatened the businessman on behalf of Saini. The contract killer duo was to have carried out the killing tomorrow, the SP said.
Saini also belongs to the Pragpura area and is presently lodged in a jail in Udaipur.
