Akuli Sahu and his son Pramod Sahu succumbed to their injuries at the hospital, the police said.
The car, which was at breakneck speed, skidded off the road and rammed against a highway side structure after the driver while negotiating a curve lost control, the police said.
Two injured persons including the car driver were undergoing treatment and were stated to be serious, the police said.
