Acting ona specific information, police last evening apprehended a person in RS Pura border belt of Jammu and recovered one kg of poppy, one gram of heroinand 8 insulin syringes from his possession, they said.
In another incident, police duringa routine naka checking at Bhalla area of Doda district, caught Asif Ahmed, who was carrying 700 grams cannabis.
According to police, cases have been registered against both the accused at RS Pura and Bhaderwah police stations respectively.
