The duo has been placed in 14-days' judicial custody by a court here.
The incident was reported at around 11 AM yesterday when the two French nationals -- Victor Claude Carmelo Martinez and Morgan Paul Maurice Patenere -- both aged around 25 years, were being off-loaded from an international flight for allegedly having consumed alcohol beyond the permissible limit and creating nuisance, said a police official.
The youths were detained by a team of security personnel who later handed them over to police.
Police have communicated the matter to the France Embassy and also sent a report to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). The accused were produced before a court which sent them to 14-days' judicial custody, said an official.
