2 girls molested in Thane

Two girls were allegedly
molested by three unidentified bike-borne youth here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday at Castle Mills junction when the victims, both aged 19, along with another youth were waiting to catch an autorickshaw, PSI T R Salunkhe of Rabodi police station said.
At that time, three unidentified youths came on a motorcycle and passed lewd comments and prevented them from boarding the autorichskaw, he said.
The motorcycle has been identified and a case under section 354(A) (outraging modesty), 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint) ,323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace)of the IPC has been registered against the trio, Salunkhe said.

Efforts are on to nab the accused and investigations are underway, the officer added.
