A special investigative team (SIT) caught two persons with about one kilo of charas in Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district Wednesday, a police official said.
Acting on a tip-off, the SIT caught Indu Devi of Obri Mohalla and her accomplice Dharam Singh of Malog village, said Chamba Superintendent of Police Monica Bhutunguru.
The SP said 968 gram of charas had been recovered from their possession. The two were arrested and a case was registered against them under relevant sections of NDPS Act at Chamba Sadar Police Station, she said, adding that further investigation was on.
