2 killed as two-wheeler rams into stationary truck

Two persons, including a former students' union leader, were killed in a road accident when their motorcycle rammed into a stationary truck here, the police said today.
The deceased -- former general secretary of T D College Students' Union Vijay Singh (27) and Manikant Tewari (25) -- were on their way home last night when the incident occurred near Chandpur village under the Line Bazar police station, they added.
While Singh died on the spot, Tewari succumbed to injuries while being rushed to a hospital, the police said.
