"Two man-eating leopards who had claimed three lives were trapped in cages in Barsu and Patal villages. Both the leopards have been sent to Forest Rescue centre in Almora," DFO of Garhwal forest Division, Rajmani Pandeya said.
One leopard was trapped in the cage set in Barsu village on Monday, Pandeya said, adding that a 10-year old female leopard was also caught last evening in Patal village.
Three persons have been killed by the man-eating leopards in the region within a month, the DFO said.
A minor girl was also attacked by the animal in Budh village on March 15.
