20 children injured in car-school van collision in UP

At least 20 children were injured when their school van collided with a car this morning in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr city, an official said today.

The incident took place when the van was on the way to Balvidya Mandir School at Jehangirabad town, Circle Officer Jitendra Singh said.

The injured were rushed to district hospital, he said.

According to preliminary investigation, the incident occurred when the driver of the bus fell asleep and the vehicle veered and collided with the car, he said.
