After hearing the prosecution and the defence, Additional District and Sessions Judge R B S Maurya yesterday awarded 20 years imprisonment each to Rameshwar and Ram Kripal, besides seven years prison term to Gudda and imposed fines on them, Assistant Government Counsel Amar Singh Yadav said.
On February 19, 2005, the victim girl had gone to see 'nautanki', a popular form of folk theatre, with some persons of her village but did not return.
Her father had later lodged an FIR against five persons, including Rameshwar, Ram Kripal and Gudda, Yadav said.
The court, however, acquitted one of those charged in the case for want of evidence. Another man against whom charges had been brought, died during the period of the trial.
