200 Sindhis from Pakistan apply for Indian citizenship

Two hundred members of the Sindhi Hindu community who are in India on a long-term visa from Pakistan, applied for Indian citizenship at a two-day camp organised by the central government here today.
After initial scrutiny, applications will be sent to the concerned departments, according to an official release issued here.
Officials of the Union Home Ministry, district administration and the police were present at the camp which opened today, the release said.
