Rohit, who is wanted in a murder case and was previously involved in a gangrape case, was apprehended from near Rajokri flyover yesterday, Chhaya Sharma, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), said.
He had in July last year along with his associates allegedly kidnapped Sandeep and murdered him in Haryana and threw his body in Hudda Canal. He was absconding since the day of incident to avoid his arrest.
During interrogation, it also came to light that he was previously involved in gang rape case at Kanjawala and was arrested in 2010. He remained in jail for 18 months in this case.
