A 22-year-old woman was allegedly abducted along with her two-year-old son and gang-raped in a car by her landlord and two others who threatened to throw out the child from the moving vehicle.
According to the police, the incident occurred in East Delhi's Vivek Vihar on Monday.
The victim and her husband along with their son lived in a rented house owned by one Sonu.
"The victim has alleged in her complaint that Sonu's house was frequented by anti-social elements, something she and her husband raised objections to. There have been regular tiffs between the two families. On Monday, too, they had an argument with Sonu's wife Kiran over the issue of rent," a senior police official said today.
The victim has alleged that she along with her kid were abducted by Sonu and his associates in a van when she was standing at a traffic signal waiting for a conveyance in Shahadra at around 9 PM, police said
His wife Kiran was also inside the vehicle and allegedly took the child in her possession. They threatened to throw him outside the moving vehicle. The men inside the vehicle then took turns to rape her before dumping the mother-son duo near Swami Dayananad Hospital where the two are being treated.
Investigations are on in this case and efforts are on to nab the attackers, police said.
