24x7 pharmacy at JIPMER to sell quality drugs under PMSYY

: A 24x7 pharmacy to sell quality drugs at reasonable prices under PMSYY would start functioning at the Centrally sponsored Jawaharlal Institute of Post graduate Medical Education and Research here from tomorrow.
The pharmacy will offer a discount of 28.28 per cent for branded drugs, 68.68 per cent for branded generics, 58.58 per centfor hospital consumables and 48.48 percent for medical devices, a release from the Institute said here today.
It said the Health and Family Welfare Ministry has approved opening of the pharmacy under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana to make quality drugs available to inpatients, out-patientsand JIPMER staff at reasonable cost.
