3-day SP convention next month

A 3-day national convention of the Samajwadi Party will be held from October eight at Janeshwar Mishra Park here, a party spokesman said.
On the inaugural day, a 25-ft statue of Janeshwar Mishra will be unveiled, he said.
The party president and the national executive will also be elected at the convention, the spokesman said.
The inaugural session will be addressed by SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav and party UP head Akhilesh Yadav.
