Three teenagers, including two brothers, drowned today in an anicut constructed on Gambhiri river in Rajasthan's Chittorgarh district, police said.
The boys had gone to take bath and apparently drowned while trying to save each other, they said.
The deceased were identified as Danish (12) and his elder brother Riyaz (15) and their relative Nadeem (15), SHO Kotwali police station Omprakash Solanki said.
Another 12-year-old, Moin, was saved by villagers, he added. Bodies were handed over to family members after post-mortem and the matter registered under CrPc section 174, police said.
