Acting on a tip-off, a Crime Branch team raided a building at Alipur road in north Delhi's Civil Lines area, and nabbed Rajesh Kumar (46), Nitin Arora (38) and Nitin Grover (28) during the match, said Madhur Verma, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime).
He said the trio used to indulge in betting during international and domestic cricket matches.
They used to receive bets on cell phones from their "customers" who are known as 'punters' in betting circles, the DCP added.
They used to book a room in a hotel or a guest house in a posh locality and keep on changing location for every match.
They were in the know that the police are keeping a tab on their actions and they used to book a hotel room instead of taking bets from their residences.
Ten phones fixed in briefcases used as 'Dabba Lines', 16 cellphones, three laptops and two LCDs have been recovered from them, added the officer.
