The deceased all aged about 21 years, were from this city city, police said, adding that their friend who was driving the car, was being treated at the government hospital here.
The four were on their way to Udhagamandalam past midnight yesterday along with some friends in two other cars when the mishap occurred.
The bus was proceeding to Munnar in Kerala after touring Nilgiris district, police said.
