3 shot dead in separate incidents

Three persons were shot dead in separate incidents in the last 24-hour under Hussainabad police station limits of Palamau district, police today said.
A 25-year-old man, identified as Mintu Choudhury, was shot dead allegedly by three miscreants at village Deori under the police station today afternoon, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Nasrullah Khan said.
Choudhury was sitting at a general store when three motorcycle-borne assailants arrived and opened fire.
In an another incident, one person was shot dead while his brother sustained injured critically in village Suknadih under the police station area last evening.
Unidentified miscreants fired at Manoj Paswan and his brother Hiralal suspectedly over old rivalry, Khan said.

While Manoj was killed on the spot, Hiralal suffered critical injuries and was rushed to Sadar Hospital in Medinanagar, where he succumbed to his injuries this afternoon, Khan said.
