31 ill after having food at varsity hostel

Thirty-one persons, including 25 students, fell ill after having dinner at one of the hostels of Kaziranga University.
According to University officials, around half an hour after dinner last night, the students and six employees complained of uneasiness and started vomiting.
Soon afterwards, they were rushed to a private nursing home in the city, they said.
Doctors on duty said all of them are out of danger.
Following the incident, the administration has instituted an enquiry.
