Acting on a tip off, four persons were arrested from new overbridge, Mathura Road under Sasni gate police station area and fake currency having a face value of Rs 1.95 lakh, in the denomination of Rs 1,000, Rs 500 and Rs 100 was recovered from their possession, an ATS release issued here said.
Those arrested said that they used to get the fake currency from Bangladesh and used to run it in the market through a commission agent, it said, adding that a case has been registered and further investigations are on.
