4 steal hired car on Delhi-Dehradun highway

Four persons allegedly ran away with a car, which they had hired, after assaulting its driver near Mansoorpur area of the district, police said today.
The four miscreants had hired the Swift car from Modinagar for Dehradun.
Last night, they stabbed car driver Satish on Delhi- Dehradun national highway when he opposed the theft and fled with the car, Circle Officer D K Mittal said.
The injured driver was rushed to hospital in a serious condition, the officer said, adding, search is on to nab the culprits.
