Court has also imposed a fine of Rs 35,000 on him.
Court of special CBI judge M S Wadhwa on Monday pronounced its order against Rajendra Singh, who was working as manager at Patyali branch of Central Bank of India, after holding him guilty under various provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
According to the prosecution case, Kamal Mishra had filed a complaint against Rajendra Singh on December 13, 2011, at anti-corruption branch of CBI in Ghaziabad, saying he had demanded a bribe of Rs 10,000 from his father Ravi Prakash Mishra for making his Kisan Credit Card.
After hearing arguments from both defence and prosecution, CBI court on Monday found Rajendra Singh guilty of taking bribe and sentenced him to jail for four years.
