40 injured after bus falls into gorge

Forty passengers, including 35 women, were injured today when their vehicle rolled down into a gorge at a village near Bhavani, police said.
They said the private bus was proceeding to Sathyamangalam from here when the mishap occurred at Thippichettipalayam.
None of the passengers suffered any serious injuries, police said.
Among the injured were 35 women.
All the injured persons have been hospitalised.
Police said they are investigating the reason behind the accident.
