5 killed in road accident in Rajasthan

Five people were killed and as many injured when a jeep they were travelling in collided head-on with a truck in Bharatpur district today, police said.
The accident occurred on the Nagar-Deeg road under the Nagar police station area when the victims were on their way to the Govedhan temple in Mathura, they added.
The deceased were identified as Anurag (14), Sharmila (45), Babulal (50), Bhanu (16) and jeep driver Umardeen (45), officials said.
The injured were undergoing treatment at the district hospital, they said, adding that the bodies were handed over to the family members after postmortem.
