Fed up with ragging by students of eleventh standard and inaction by authorities despite complaints in the past, the students after dinner scaled the boundary wall of the campus and fled late last night, Kumar said.
The incident came to light today when during the morning assembly the students of 8th standard were not spotted. The school principal then enquired about them and came to know about the escape, a school official said.
The DM asked the Principal to probe the complaints and call parents of the seniors found involved in ragging.
Later, the students were sent to school with strict instruction to the Principal that there should be no further complaint, the DM said.
