The ill-fated jeep was going from Hisar to Siwani while the truck was on its way to Hisar, police said.
The accident took place when the truck driver allegedly tried to overtake a loaded tractor-trolley and hit the jeep coming from the opposite direction.
The six were killed on the spot, about 20 kms from here. The injured were admitted to various hospitals in Hisar and the condition of some of them was reportedly critical, they added.
