7,277 questions approved in Rajasthan Assembly's 2nd session

The second session of the 15th Rajasthan assembly had 21 meetings and over 7,000 questions were approved.

The session began on June 27 and the assembly was adjourned sine die on August 5 by the speaker C.P Joshi.

Out of the 7,292 questions received, 7,277 were approved. Of the approved questions, 3,220 were starred and 4,057 unstarred.

A total of 477 starred questions were listed, of which 222 questions were raised and answered during the session. The number of listed unstarred questions was 599.

The state government presented the budget 2019-20 in the house on July 10 and the four day budget debate took over 23 hours.

The budget debate was attended by 106 legislators.
