An estimated 72.85 per cent votes were registered in nine booths of four Lok Sabha constituencies of Odisha where fresh polling was held on Thursday, an election official said here.
The re-polls were held in two booths each of Sundergarh and Kandhamal seats, four booths of Bargarh and one booth of Aska.
Voting in these nine booths were affected due to various reasons during the second phase of polling on April 18.
"Polling was disrupted mostly due to human error in connecting VVPAT machines," the official said.
The state chief electoral officer had recommended the ECI to conduct re-polling in these places.
