75-year-old dairy owner found murdered in his house

A 75-year-old man was found murdered with his throat slit at his residence in Mansarovar Park area of east Delhi this morning.
Police said that the deceased was identified as Kashiram, who along with his two sons lived in Mansarovar Park area. He owned a dairy situated near his house.
"Kashiram used to live on the ground floor while his sons reside on the upper floor of the house. He was found murdered inside his room at around 5.30 AM when his daughter-in-law entered the room for cleaning," said a senior police officer.
The officer said his throat had been slit.

"As per initial investigation, he was killed in the wee hours as his younger son told him around 4 AM that he was going to the dairy," he said.
Police have sent Kashiram's body for a postmortem and are interrogating his family members to ascertain if he had enmity with someone.
Further investigation is on, he added.
