The vehicle was on its way to Rajouri from Kandi when it skidded off the road and rolled down in Palma belt of the district this afternoon, Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, Sawagat Biswas told PTI.
In the mishap, eight persons have died and 25 others have been injured, he said. Police and Army have rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation in the area.
The injured are being shifted to hospital for treatment.
