He said this while addressing a group of industrialists at the inauguration of Marathwada Auto Cluster's first phase at Waluj industrial area here.
Pawar, who also holds the finance portfolio, said that the state government had provided a waiver of Rs 6,500 crore in electricity bills to the farmers.
While addressing another meeting organised here to review the crop and water availability in the region, Pawar ensured that even though only 123 talukas in the state had been listed as drought-hit areas, other regions facing similar problems would also be provided help.
He said additional funds of Rs 100 crore would be provided to overcome water scarcity in Marathwada region.
