Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had recently sent its national organisation building head Durgesh Pathak to Goa to guide its state unit, while senior party leader Ashutosh has also been making frequent rounds to the state.
Pathak is known for his organisation building skills in Delhi following which he was made the party-co-convener in the election-bound Punjab.
"We also did a survey in different parts of the state and got a positive feedback about our party, especially among the minorities," said a party leader.
Interestingly, the party has not taken any "formal" decision yet on contesting Assembly polls in Goa, but the top brass is convinced that it has to take a plunge into the electoral battle in the state.
Kejriwal will hold a rally in Goa on May 22, which the party sources said will give a clear picture to decide the future course of action in the state.
"Goa is more like Delhi where the population is more urban in nature and educated. So they know about the party. More importantly, it's a small state with 40 seats and therefore manageable," the leader said.
The victory margins in the state are very low due to its small population.
