Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh today said he would adopt a flood-ravaged village in Kerala and donate Rs 1 crore from his Member of Parliament Local Area Development (MPLAD) fund for the purpose.
Singh has already donated a month's salary to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund.
"I have decided to adopt a village in flood-hit Kerala and also donate Rs one crore for the purpose," Singh said.
The process of choosing the village is on and the party's state unit is looking into it, he said.
Most of the party lawmakers -- MLAs from Delhi and Punjab and MPs --have already announced they would donate a month's salary for the flood-hit state.
