"The party will nominate a prominent face from its leaders in Punjab," AAP Organisation Building head Durgesh Pathak said here.
Refusing to divulge further information, he said AAP national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will make the announcement at a rally on December 14 in Majitha's assembly constituency.
"The party has already pitted Bhagwant Mann against Sukhbir from Jalalabad seat and in the same way, a prominent face from AAP will contest against his brother-in-law, Majithia," said Pathak.
Kejriwal had alleged that Majithia had "played with the youth of Punjab by unleashing narco-terrorism in the state".
