Amid a controversy over an "interview" given by Aseemanand to a magazine, Achariya said the government should move forward and get all the issue examined thoroughly.
"We have been saying this for long. Now there is an evidence of it after Aseemanand's remarks. On that basis, the government should move forward and carry out a CBI investigation.
"We have always been talking about the possibility of the role of Hindu fundamentalists into incidents like the Ajmer blast and some other such cases. Truth will come out after a CBI probe," Acharia told reporters outside Parliament.
The Congress and other parties including BSP called it a "serious" issue and demanded that a proper probe should be ordered and action should be taken against the guilty.
The BJP and its ally Shiv Sena have also dismissed the media report about Aseemanand's allegation against RSS as "baseless" and blamed it on the "dirty tricks" department for diverting attention from the real issues before elections.
