'Girls' star Adam Driver is in final negotiations to star as the villain in 'Star Wars: Episode VII'.
The 30-year-old actor is reportedly in talks to play Darth Vader-style villain, reported Variety.
The J J Abrams continuation of creator George Lucas' classic franchise is set to start filming in the coming months.
If Driver signs on as the antagonist, he will be the first actor officially cast in the new trilogy.
It's expected that Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher will return, although no official announcements have been made.
