The 24-year-old 'Someone Like You' hitmaker is expecting her first child with fiance Simon Konecki and she is very excited about meeting her baby, reported Us magazine.
"She is lying low and focusing on becoming a mom. The baby is healthy and she's so excited," a source said.
However, Adele has not let her pregnancy put her off songwriting and she has been penning a lot of new tunes.
"The pregnancy has had a big impact on her songwriting," the source added.
It was recently revealed she has also recorded the theme for James Bond film "Skyfall".
The singer has provided the official theme song for the latest film of the British spy thriller series, her first new music since multi-million selling second album '21', released in January 2011.
