Singer Macklemore says "Hello" hitmaker Adele turned down his offer to collaborate with him and Ryan Lewis on their latest album "This Unruly Mess I've Made".
Macklemore, whose real name is Ben Haggerty, approached Adele to make a special appearance in their song "Growing Up" but after she did not revert, Ed Sheeran ended up being a part of the final track, reported ET online.
"She graciously passed," he said.
Macklemore added that Adele was the only artist who declined to work on the record, though "there were times that we never heard back from somebody's manager or something like that.
