ADGP reviews coastal security measures
The ADGP also inspected an unmanned boat that was washed ashore in the area a month ago.
The Coastal Security Group (CSG) of the state-of-the-art patrol boats and fast craft used for surveillance in the coastal stretch of this. The CSG has marine police stations at Vedaranyam, Keezhaiyur and Nagapattinam.
Later, speaking to reporters, the ADGP said the focus of CSG was not just coastal security, but it also extended to protecting the coastal eco-system, especially the fauna and flora.
