"Ingredients like vegetable fat, edible oil, colour, essence etc used in preparation of adulterated ghee were also seized from the factory which had no license," Food Safety Officer Maneesh Swami told reporters here.
Labels of different reputed brands were also found at the place, he said, adding the owner of the unit, identified as Sandeep Dhidoria, fled from the spot while his kin Khemchand was arrested by Pardesipura police.
A case under section 31 and 26 of Food Safety and Standard Act 2006 was lodged against the owner, Swami said.
No employee was seen in the factory during the joint raid, he said, adding the samples of adulterated ghee were sent for analysis at a laboratory in Bhopal.
