Earlier, Advani had displayed great form to beat Britain's Nigel Bond 4-1 to enter the fourth round of the snooker championship.

Against Bond, Advani was quick off the blocks and stormed into a 2-0 lead.

Bond fought hard to take the third frame before the Indian clinched the fourth on the black.

In the fifth frame, Advani crafted a break of 73 to seal the match.

Advani will now head to Sheffield for the Bank of Communication Shanghai Masters qualifiers from July 24-27.
