AJSU Party, JMM supporters clash

Supporters of AJSU Party and JMM were engaged in post-poll clash at Raharagora near here following which both sides lodged FIRs, the police said today.
The incident occurred when AJSU Party supporters brought out a victory procession last night and some of them beat up JMM workers and ransacked their houses, alleged JMM leader Mangal Kalindi, who lost the election from Jugsalai.
AJSU Party's Ramchandra Sahis, who won from Jugsalai, on the other hand, alleged that JMM supporters have assaulted some of his supporters in Gadra and threatened others with pistol while they were celebrating the party's win.
When contacted in this regard, the officer-in-charge of Parsudih police station Vipin Kumar said FIRs have been lodged from both sides and investigation is on.
